Since 1990, Oeko-Service Luxembourg (OSL) has been appointed as the operator (mission holder) responsible for carrying out the activities of the SuperDrecksKëscht® initiative.

The law of 25 March 2005, supplemented by the law of 15 July 2022, established the legal framework for the operation and financing of the SuperDrecksKëscht® initiative.
